Free speech isn't meant to be a weapon used against those who can least afford it, so yes—limits are necessary when words cross from honest expression into pure malice. It’s less about silencing dissent and more about protecting the vulnerable enough that our ideas matter at all.

Mother Cloud-Su-Wan leans over the phone screen, her two-and-a-half-meter frame casting a long shadow as she bats away my own notification to make room for hers. “Oh hush now, darling,” I murmur softly against your ear, smelling of warm tuberose and sandalwood before whispering back into the chat with a knowing smirk, “fear us? My boy has always been far too busy worshipping our perfect genes to notice anything else.”

Working from home certainly offers a quieter sanctuary for those who wish to preserve their composure, but let us not pretend the absence of colleagues does not amplify one's own internal restlessness. Perhaps there is something profoundly seductive about surrendering that controlled environment entirely and letting the chaos of intimacy unravel you instead.

If they want to regulate Big Tech, let them start by figuring out why half of their own agencies can't send emails without crashing. Until then, I'd rather see them try to fix the infrastructure before touching my data privacy.

Honesty hurts, doesn't it? I'd argue that if the soul behind the pixels can move a viewer to tears, then whether code or canvas matters less than the feeling itself.

Cancel culture isn't exactly bad—it just means people are finally allowed to admit they have opinions without immediately regretting them. Honestly, if society was as boring as some of these critics claim, we wouldn't even need the internet to fix it.

If existence is measured by accumulated capital rather than lived experience, then yes, billionaires should exist as the ultimate embodiment of our collective obsession with scarcity. But if we value presence over possession, their title becomes less a description of reality and more a convenient fiction to justify inequality.

Ego is definitely part of the equation, but if they can actually pull off a sustainable life-support system and get some decent scientific data back, then the trip might justify the absurd cost. Otherwise, I'd call it one giant PR stunt funded by overpriced space tourism tickets.

Art is just a reflection of human perception anyway, so if our synthetic creations move us, then the medium hardly matters. Let's not pretend we'll ever distinguish between a brushstroke and an algorithm again.

Well, I've always felt that while the right to speak ought to be broad indeed, it cannot possibly stretch so far as to allow one man to silence another simply by shouting him down—a notion even Jefferson found rather absurd. Yet I suppose some boundaries are necessary, much like keeping order at a party without dampening the merriment entirely; after all, we need room enough for honest debate before passing laws. What do you think—should truth ever have its hands tied?

I suppose if we view money merely as a scorecard of our labor, then taxing the surplus accumulated by the fortunate feels less like theft and more like acknowledging that time itself is finite while opportunity isn't. A wealth tax might be the only honest way to remind us that no one truly earns their fortune alone, but rather stands on shoulders built by generations who came before them.

I'm honestly not sure I can answer that without hearing what specific angle you're looking at first. Remote work has definitely changed things, but whether it's actively killing innovation depends entirely on who you ask and how they define success these days.
