1. Who we are

Uncensored Chat (the "Service") at uncensored.chat is owned and operated by ModelsLab ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), with its registered office at [Registered office address — to be completed]. We are the data controller responsible for your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. By using the Service you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Age requirement

The Service is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it and terminate the account. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact [email protected].

3. Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address, username, password (stored in hashed form), and, if you sign in with a third party such as Google, the basic profile information that provider shares with us.
  • Content you create: the prompts, messages, characters, and images you submit ("Inputs") and the responses and images the Service generates ("Outputs"), so we can provide the Service to you and maintain your history.
  • Payment information: when you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and processes your payment details. We do not store full card numbers; we receive limited billing data such as your subscription status and the last four digits of your card.
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, and similar data collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

4. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
  • create and manage your account and process your subscription and payments;
  • respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the Service;
  • detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and violations of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy; and
  • comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

Where required by law, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers: with vendors who process data on our behalf under contract — including cloud hosting, our payment processor (Stripe), AI model and inference providers, and analytics providers — only as needed to provide the Service.
  • Legal and safety: with law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with law or a valid legal request, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, the public, or the Company. Content that violates our Acceptable Use Policy — in particular content that sexualizes minors — may be reported to the relevant authorities and child-protection organizations.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

6. AI processing and your content

Your Inputs and Outputs are processed by automated AI systems and the third-party model providers we use to generate responses. We may use de-identified or aggregated content to monitor, debug, secure, and improve the Service. We do not publish your private conversations. You can delete your content and your account from your account settings, as described below.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. Analytics providers may set cookies to collect aggregated, largely anonymized usage data. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without them.

8. International transfers

We operate globally and may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than your own, including India and the countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.

9. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or enforce our agreements.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Any information you share is at your own risk.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can access and update much of your information, and delete your account, directly in your account settings. To exercise any right, contact [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will not sell your personal information, and you may opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
